rough day. i lost my little sidekick. he ran behind a truck tire. his name was goofy. i adopted him from a local shelter several years ago. he wouldnt leave my side. it was a wonderful 6? years. man, ill miss him......

I dont think you get a notification but to be honest I dont remember.Check your "Articles awaiting publishing".

If nothing shows up it's either been approved or denied. "Your published articles" will also show if it's been published. If it shows up right now somewhere near the title should be a shield icon, that means it's awaiting approval. I can't remember if it shows unpublished articles in the published section though.
