Good morning everyone it is really bad here but we are safe.

No cell service or internet at home and only a few spots have wifi right now such as my work and Walmart. The gas stations are running out of gas and several stores are closed.

We lost power Friday at about 9am but luckily they got it back on around 8:30 that night. It's bad here in Sylva but it's way worse in Asheville and some of the surrounding cities and towns.

This is a bridge I cross to get home and the water is normally a good 15-20 feet below it. We drove to Asheville Saturday to take my son to visit his family over there because we had no idea how bad it was. I have never in my life seem so much devastation there.

We have never been hit like this by one we normally get storms from them when they come up from the gulf but i have never seen one as bad as this one in my lifetime.
