Alk is in the "low" range for some corals (SPS mainly), PO4 is almost 0 (with a +/- 0.03 error margin). SPS may want more. Nitrates are fairly lowish but not bad. Softies probably want more.

Light and flow could be issues?

Also, does he run carbon? Potentially there could be sorry warfare (Toadstools and Leathers as well as some sponges release toxins into the water column to affect neighboring corals). Carbon helps limit these toxins.

Is his water dirty looking? Super clean looking? Clean, clear water means more direct feeding might be necessary.

He doesn't have sps for now, only lps and softies, the light may be a problem but there are some perfect corals and he has run that lights for years, he runs carbon through a reactor

@luis angel This would cause a big spike in algae potentially so you might see a big growth in cheato.

If the chaeto grows because of that then we have a problem because he himself says that it has grown way too much. The tank itself doesn't have algae

Iron causes algae growth (usually nuisance algae, but Macros utilize iron as well I believe). Iron also helps with corals in low doses.

Mine was a magnetic glass cleaner but it can be pump motors (skimmer, return, or powerhead) or even those metal hose clamps rusting. Same as copper, it can slowly build up over time.

Not necessarily though... I was 1 class away from a minor in mathematics and had to take a 400 level Math Theory class. I didn't because it was a class about "What if 1+1 wasn't really 2, what if 1+1=orange?"

And for the record, 1+1=10 in base 2 (computer language basically). But why is it that 2 doesn't exist in base 2? Because 2 in base 2 is 10... So why isn't it base 10? Because 10 is 10 in base 10. And in base 15 15 is actually E and 16 is 10... All these weird math things.

Yes, but 1 is always 1 unless you're counting in base 1 or less in which case there is no math because 0 can only be zero and nothing more can exist and if we drop to base 0 not even 0 exists because there is no spoon.

Thanks Walker, I have been saying for a long time that we weren’t going to make it to the World Series. We just didn’t have starter pitchers. We lost our ace in the second week and a few others. We had the best bullpen and closer in the MLB but our offense went cold after the allstar break. Maybe a chance if our bats stayed hot. It was a fun ride and I got to go to my first post season game which was super fun!
