Wonder why my tank is having such a bad break out then. Would it be Dino if my phosphates are at a good level?Seems like a good level to me.
Going to siphon my sand and do a good cleaning today. I went on a 5day vacation in the midst of battling this algae . Came back and it was worse then ever. I’ve been manually removing the algae every couple days trying to keep under control. Don’t know if it’s Dino or diatoms. My microscope came in so I will take a look at the algae to try and identify !I run around .05-.09 so doesn’t seem too high. Not sure, but the algae may be consuming phosphate too and the readings are showing lower than what phosphate input is, so that could be a culprit still.

I’d second this. Mine was running .00 for a while, with GHA still growing. Clearly, it was higher, but being consumed by the algae.I run around .05-.09 so doesn’t seem too high.
