1,000 Gallon Coral Prop System |Tips and Help Needed!

I don't think you need to drill them on the sides and connect them like that, don't see any advantage. Its not a bad idea, just not necessary imo : )

You are right! Neptune gave me the perfect idea. I would have just put bulkheads in those holes to seal them up. Thanks for the feedback!

Lol, I was trying to imagine why on earth you would need to automate 10x ATI fixtures. Would look pretty impressive if you did that!!!

Good luck with the new stuff.

I wish I had a reason to run that many! I planned on buying four, and running them on their own tracks...but 10 would have been so nuts!

Thanks again for the luck.

Its a bummer you're not working on this project anymore.

If anyone has any questions on large fiberglass propagation systems, let me know. Here is a 11 foot by 5 foot 8" fiberglass propagation system. Drilled drain, about 1600 lbs of concrete blocks as support.

Seeing this makes me want to start again! Haha. I'll be back when the time is right. We are ramping up space for the holidays now so I had to free it up. Debating building some mezzanine to go higher.

Wow! That's an awesome system! Do you have a build thread for this?
