Bought 1 of these in November 2020 in 4 months as of today I have 3 !
Bought from someone in MI sorry but I cannot find his name.
So 2 weeks ago it split and now today it split again!!
This is my 30g I was wondering how do I get 1 loose to put in my 110g ?
Also if you zoom in what are those mushroom type things on top of the rock ? Looks like they have a vail that comes down.
Pretty cool how they split so good the rose bubble tips

take your thumb and try to gently lift the foot of the anemone. once you get the foot up even a little it is super easy to get the rest. Even if it tears a little i wouldnt worry, yours has already split multiple times and will probably be fine as long as it doesnt get infected for some reason

Let me try a better pic and thanks for the info
Best I can get

idk they honestly look really cool though. The odd base makes me think a sponge species, or a really weird mushroom. Keep an eye out and post in identification thread. Could actually be worth something

Ya they do dead center on the top. If you look at the 3rd pic there is a white line coming up looks like it's on the back of the tank but it's coming up from the hole in it

maybe some odd tunicate as well, but id/hitchhiker thread is you best bet for a better id

You should never tear the foot of an anemone

yes in ideal situation it wouldnt be and i did say to be gentle. i meant not to stress out if it cuts open a bit on its foot as his anemone has split before meaning its insides have been exposed before, so likelihood of infection should be much less.
