1 fish... 2 fish... how many fish you got?

used to have 4 but had to trade my goby because he was bothering my zoas, and I lost the rest to ich. so currently 0

Noticed your yellow goby is grey. I just got one and mine is too. Is this okay? Female? It was yellow and I put it into my quarantine tank and it instantly went grey?
I believe it is a gender thing, but I also heard it is a stress response, or they change colors as they mature. I don't know which is correct, but when I received it from LA, I was really irritated and contacted them to tell them they sent me the wrong fish as it was not YELLOW! But they said it was right. I looked it up, and it appears to be the case. Mine has always been white and grey and seems perfectly happy and healthy with his shrimp.

Fluctuates but I think about 40 now.

I do kinda like the white - the pattern is nice.

I have a 75 gallon mixed reef, with a ton of frags including a lot of Acropora, and there are even a few anemones and sponges. As the fish grow I will probably move some into different tanks, but for now it is full of activity, looks good, and everything gets along for the most part.

Fish include:
1 Royal Gramma
1 Sunburst Anthias
2 Banggai Cardinalfish
2 Clarkii Clownfish
2 Smithi Damselfish
1 Yellow Tailed Damsel
5 Green Chromis
3 Orange Line Chromis
2 Black Line Fang Blenny
1 Firefish
2 Skunk Tilefish
1 Yellow Spot Tilefish
1 Green Clown Goby
2 Aurora Goby
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
3 Red Headed Goby
1 Cebu Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse
1 Pintail Fairy Wrasse
1 Hooded Flame Fairy Wrasse
1 Golden Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse
1 Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse
1 Lineatus Fairy Wrasse
1 Radiant Wrasse
1 Timor Wrasse

I also have a 20 gallon high being used as a quarantine/holding tank for some fish for different systems which has 2 helfrichi firefish, 1 Rolland's damsel, 5 saddleback clownfish, and 4 percularis clownfish.

We have a fluval evo with a pair of wyoming white clownfish, and another fluval evo running as a quarantine with 2 red firefish, 2 midnight lightning ocellaris clownfish, and 4 red stoplight cardinalfish.

Currently have 4 fish (maybe 5):
Banggai cardinal
Tailspot Blenny
Pinkbar/Aurora Goby
Six Line Wrasse

And maybe a firefish, I had two, and one died, and the other was around for a few days and then disappeared, so don’t know if it’s still among the living. These were from a blackfriday sale, and the salinity of the tank they came from was 1.032, so despite a slow acclimation, they had a rough time settling in, they remained skittish and stayed right by their hidey hole for the 2-3 months I had them. Hoping one is still alive, but I haven’t seen it in a little over a week.

Don't give up hope. We added our yellow watchman from our fluval evo to our 75 gallon on December 24th, never saw it again after December 26th. Showed up yesterday and it has doubled in size. Apparently the burrow entrance was facing the back of the tank where we couldn't see it. Now the aurora goby pair, the firefish, and 2 of my tilefish moved in with him and his candy pistol shrimp, and the burrow entrance is back at the front of the rock.

My six fish.
2 tangs
1 clown
1 wrasse
1 chromis
1 dottyback
The dottyback refuses to allow me to take its picture so this was the best that I could manage that has any focus.

1 clown at the moment, but I'm planning to get a firefish soon because I have just discovered a local fish store that's only 2.5 miles away AND has firefish which I have been struggling to find, for 19.99!
