Can the 4 pin 1 link port be used for a standard 24 v or even better a 12 v diy

The 1Link ports carry 24v plus AquaBus data communications. They are only meant to only control the WAV, DOS, or Trident devices. You cannot turn the port Off or On like a normal power output. I'd be worried that you'd screw up data communications across your whole AquaBus environment if you connect any DIY devices.

You can use the 12v accessory ports on the EB832 for DIY devices, and Neptune even sells a 12v DIY bare cable for this purpose.

Sorry, I stand corrected. Both the 1Link (4-pin) and accessory (2-pin) ports are 24v.
