It can be a pain to balance if you're running a siphon system. Durso, no problem, though I generally prefer to use separate returns and drains for simplicity.

You sure can. Right one gravity drains to the left one. But I also have a split on my overflow to feed each side

Another option, which is what I did, is to branch off of your return pump and let it drain back into the sump.
