1 year in. Great success so far!

Ok guys. I’ve been holding out on my 40gal because I was always afraid of how bad my tank looked. So here it goes.

Let’s get the bad out of the way first...

yes I am still running a can filter

Whew ok, there!!! I said it!!!

I test everything except magnesium.


The first 6 pictures show my tank through some progression. And finally the last picture show my tank in its current state. Starting to finally be happy with the results!

Of course I hopped on the bandwagon and am using 2 x kessil 160’s
