Used this last night and ordered a Tunze Comline Doc 9004 for my Nuvo 38. The IM branded skimmer didn't work out for me. It pulled a bunch of nasty skimmate, but the micro bubbles were ridiculous even after 6 weeks of running..hopefully the Tunze will work out much better!.

Sorry to hear about the micro-bubble issue with your IM skimmer. I have the same skimmer myself and don't have an issue, although our intern battled and resolved them (detailed in this blog post). We dig the 9004; we may even use it on a new office tank we're working on!

I'll post up a review after I've had mine for a while! On my IM Skimmer, the collection cup was always a pain to remove too. Really hoping this 9004 is awesome!
