I'm wondering what you guys are running for lights, wave makers and ato on a small tank setup similar to this size tank. I'm not trying to spend few couple hundreds on each one. It's a small simple tank. I want a wave maker with a mp10 magnetic style. Nothing bulky.

here is my equipment this for those things: ( on a 10g )

light: kessil a80 ( around $160 with gooseneck )

Wave Maker: Jebao slw-10 ( $70 )

Ato: JBJ ( $90 with a pump )

I think the kessil is a bit of a ripoff, but that is personal choice, and the other ones I truly think are some of the best budget options.

I was def looking into that wave maker but the slw 5 only putting a softie tank together. I have a jbj nano already in my 35 gallon it's a great ato. I was looking into a reef breeders pico light.

Aquariums seem to grow and multiply, so whatever you do go modular.
that 60 and 90w Nicrew LED looks well built for under 100…second on that Kessil, they last IME
Jaebo makes decent wave makers, definitely reliable for the price you pay,
I like their DC return pump

Id use a jaebo slw 10
A nano.in tank or hob.skimmer
A liberty hob filter by ehiem
A heater with a controller...
A small t5 light...
Id top it off by hand.
Still not cheap imo
Lol

I suggest
Ai prime, radion, kessil 160 and up
Aquamaxx desktop reactor (opt)
Eiemm hester
Eiemm canister filter
Dueletto ato (comes with everything)
Total price for all of it assuming you can find some usef stuff is 450 500

My 5 gallaon critter tank has a cheap sunsun powerhead ($15 and still working 2 year later), a cheap HOB filter for running carbon, and cheap reading light. I just bough the cheap gravity powered ATO from amazon which I have yet to set up

My 15 gallon rock flower tank has an aquamai and cheap sunsun powerhead ($15 and 2 years old, I bought 2 at the time), and a AI prime 16, and an $80 Kamoer ATO

The equipment you need (lights, flow, and filtration) will be determined by what you intend to keep in the tank

I'm not even going the skimmer route just hob filter with chemipure and floss.

Doing all softies not shooting for a setup that expensive my other setup gets the greats in that lol

MP10 Way too strong for a 10g. Better off with a Jebao RW4 or similar with speed control. For light, a 20" will be a challenge in size but a baby T5 light or light bars such as reef brite

I didn't say mp10. I said like that type of style. The magnetic hockey puck types of wave makers.

The slw-5 will do fine in your tank…. I have to have the 10 turned down to the lowest setting.

the reefbreeders pico has similar specs to the kessil a80, so I don’t think that would a bad route to go down, the spread is only 12” x 12” though, so make sure your tank isn’t bigger than that!

Tanks 19*9 but scape only takes up about 14*7 all softies so they don't need that much light. I think I should be ok with that light

You could get away with just a strong return pump on a 10g. I have the MightyJet 326gph and only set to 1.3/1.9, no other wavemaker. I'd suggest going mini though if you do b/c all space is premium in a 10g.

I use AI Prime 16HD with a 3Dreefing diffuser. Quite happy with it. Perfect for a cube.

No skimmer, just a 5 min daily water change routine (M 1g, Tu 1qt, W 2qt, Th 1qt, F 1g) with carbon and purigen under floss for filtration.

Bottle ATO works of you prefer the visual of a bottle over more tubes/wires. 1.5L bottle gets refilled every 3 days, or MWF.

Heater: defer, running any old 100W. For cooling, I ziptied a strong(er) USB fan to my AI Prime gooseneck:

Have an AuqaShield 10W UV on backup if needed.

Just seeing you have a 19" wide. Bar option could be 21led ReefbarPro. The 20" Blue Heavy bars are actually 18.5" and would fit perfectly on top. 1 or 2 would be more than enough. I have 2 in my Evo at 70% actinics and ~30% white/UV/cool blue, and easy LPS and softies are quite happy and coloring up nicely. Good budget option!

this is what i have in my Fluval 13.5 Evo
bought a used AI Prime 16HD for $160
Hygger mini wave maker $76
Jebao doser which i use also for topping off water $63
im happy with everything so far
