Now that you mention it, I’m kinda curious. I see some Euphyllia but not much else.

THey do normally have white spots as juveniles, so it might not be ich.

quarantined him, and he is acting much better and has no more white spots

update, tank is doing great! wrasse and damselfish lived well. and i traded them in for a lawnmower blenny. my tank is running great,

I know it has been a while since I posted, but I felt it was time for an update, and also to ask for some help. Since my 10 gal, I have since graduated to a 30gal tall reef. The reason for my upgrading though was unfortunately because if dinos. The peat that I am battling now is a type of stringy brown algae. I have been through dinos before, but this seems a little bit different. It originated from a small diatom looking spot that grew from the sand bed. At this point, it has reached every surface in the tank and covered it in brown strings. Can anyone help me to identify this and find possible cures?
