10 gallon QT tank

Looking for sugjestions for hang on back filter and what else could need for a 10 gallon qt tank. Figured out an eheim heater but not sure what filter to use and anything on the bottom of the tank since this will be used to monitor new fish and medicate if needed.

I’m not a fan of sponge filters. A simple hang on back power filter from Walmart at $20 would work or a penguin 200 bio filter

I use a sponge filter for my fresh water planted tank and it works great. For this I will get the one mentioned above by jekyl
