This will be the first sump I’ve ever setup so need some advice. I plan to have 3 chambers.
1st- skimmer and filter sock
2nd- macro algae and heater
3rd- return pump
I have no idea what return pump or overflow box to get so if you all have any ideas please let me know! Thanks!

Assuming it's just normal cabinet height approx 30-36" you can have a nice little AC pump rated for 250 gph or so. Sicce 1.0 or 1.5 or comparable. You only need 3x-5x turnover but having a little extra is nice and you can put a gate valve in return line if you'd like (not necessary though).

Not sure if 10 gallons will be big enough for an effective macroalgae fuge - but understand the appeal.

Pay attention to chambers as you'll want to run water level in sump to protect against overflow when return pump stops/off. You may only want to run two chambers (pump and sock/skimmer and then just put some diffuser to section off macroalgae).

Good luck!
