100 acrylic display build

It is a 1" thick acrylic tank that we are going to have in our living room. The plan is to plumb this tank to our basement where we are going to setup a fish room and will hopefully be adding a few hundred gallons. So far we have the tank, stand, sump that I guess we are going to incorporate down in the basement, SWC 200 skimmer and a mp60. I do like the overflow of this tank it has a small compartment in the middle of the 2 sections that all the wires can go down so none of them hang out of the tank and it just so happens a mp40 can also fit in there to have a powerhead on the back wall. Since it is around Christmas I am assuming this is going to take a couple months to get going but we'll see how much we can get done.
This is the tank coming in and it needed a cleaning so we filled it up with water and vinegar to try to get it cleaned up a bit

Got it cleaned up

Today it was buffed and looks as good as new!

Thanks, I should have it completed within a few months. Just have some planning to do with all the plumbing that will be going on in the basement and then should be ready to build and fill.

Mixed reef maybe sps dominant but I like my chalices too so.... Planning on getting a nice t5/led combo

Oh cool! I have an inch thick acrylic tank as well (100G to boot!). It's a bit of a pain to deal with the thickness given products usually aimed at our size tanks, but so far so good. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this!
