I am looking to upgrade my 60 Gallon Reef to a 100 Gallon Acrylic. I am wanting to have all of the filtration being inside of the tank itself. I really dont mind if it is a DIY or if there is one that can buy. Can anybody help me out with what would be needed to DIY or where I can get a system that would work?

As SW tanks don't need filtration, but do best with 2lb of LR per gallon and a good Skimmer. You would use a Hang On Back Skimmer.

I have a few fish in with the reef. I run a fluval 406 and a phosphate reactor on my 60 gallon right now. Never had any problems at all and all levels stay right where they should be

How often do you perform water changes that your Nitrate levels don't get high? I take it your not running a Skimmer either? What are your numbers?

I don't do water changes because I have had multiple people in the coral/saltwater business tell me that as long as my numbers stay constant and level then the changes aren't needed. I'm at work and can't think of all of the numbers off the top of my head at the moment, but I test at home and also have 2 different local reef stores check my levels once a week and have never had the first minutes issue with any of them. And no, no skimmer, no refuge/sump, just the fluval, a UV light, and the phosphate reactor

WOW. Not many are able to get away with that. Right on. I don't do but 2 water changes a yeas, but I run a Sump. You must have a ton of Live Rock in the tank.

I'm wanting the new one to look natural as possible. No HOBs, no visible powerheads (working on forming up and glueing liverock to completely surround the heads and make them appear to be boulders laying in the tank), and no piping going anywhere outside of the tank. Hoping to figure out a way to hide everything inside or behind liverock structures to be invisible when you look at the tank

Ever thought of just using extrenal water pumps then? You can use pvc up to the tank, then Loc-Line to pin point the flow at the water surface just at the water line.

Same problem tho. I don't really want to drill the tank and have water pipes going underneath for possible leaks
