Ya, I think I'll end up doing the back panel too.

The sealant came.
The front glass is glued into place.
Silicone oozed out from both sides of the glass INSURING there is proper coverage.
The inside seams were taped and glue was smoothed by a finger.
The tape was removed before the glue could "skin".
Now I wait...patiently.

I think on Monday I'll start taking the back glass off and overflow box. Maybe Tuesday.

Looks good. Great job! Not something I would have tackled myself.

Just make sure when it dries, you don't have bubbles in the silicone between the panes of glass.

Ok, I got the back glass off and soaking it in ZEP calcium destroyer. The front panel is super solid and no air bubbles present in the seams. Once the back panel is pristine, I'll glue it in place.

Once it’s done you will be able to rest easy putting everything back on not too mention you can say you fixed it yourself. A job not many are willing to undertake. Good job!!

It's actually as difficult as I thought it would be. It's time consuming and stressful. I just hope that after all this work the sucker holds water! All the critters in the tub are doing well. I did a 5 gallon water change a couple days ago. I'll do another tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well, she held water all night long with no drips runs or errors. Now it's time to put the reef back together and get the critters re-homed.
