100 gallon refugium

I honestly have no idea what the dimensions are. But yeah it is pretty deep. We have the lights that are currently on our display tank and we are going to move those to the fuge and then we will be buying new halides for the display. Might even put one halide on the fuge cause we are getting three.

Halide powered fuge is serious business! sounds awesome!

Some have mentioned a deep sand bed, and I don't think I would agree with that recommendation (if you were considering it). There's a risk of it causing a tank crash and with your size fuge you won't need one.

You could look into a "Triton method" sump for neutrient export. They have a sponsor forum on r2r with more info (note: the sump isn't actually their product, they just provide a recommend sump design for neutrient export instead of large regular water changes).

That sounds very much like what I'm looking for. I'll check it out! Thanks!!

What's that?
Sorry, Keep It Simple Stupid, me not always being to brightest guy, when stuff seems like its getting complicated. I go back to this. Usually its me complicating stuff.
in a salt tank you really just need good water, a decent light for corals, a decent mechanical filter, good biological filtration(live rock and sand) , powerhead for flow, a heater and a test kit(I used test strips for the first year nothing died).. And research and patience. everything else is just gravy and all are based on those few things.

filtration, light, flow and food for the animals..

Check out the deep sand bed suggestions and Triton methods and all those recommendations. Its great to learn and there's a point to them.. But it can get overwhelming, but that's when I K.I.S.S.
