100 gallons Acros Tank

How do you have your powerheads positioned in the tank, and what settings?

One Jebao (the biggest model) on left wall, W1 mode, 50% power
2 mp40s on right bottom wall, reefcrest 100% power

That's some pretty intense flow, nice! I just redid my powerhead lay out and programming yesterday. I ended up doing something similar.

Yes. The flow is pretty crazy now. The whole tank move back and forth. I kinda afraid the glass can't handle the stress of W1 mode.

I shot a couple fts but it all look ugly due to the frag racks in front. Need them, but hate them! Totally ruin my #aquascape
Quick cell phone pic so you know what I am dealing with.

I don't mind if someone come and measure the PAR. Lol
But imo acros can handle a wide variant of PAR. I can say for 99% of acros that give them as much light as you can (giving the other elements are optimal)
Looks awesome my friend

Find a way to add the refugium into my sump.
Cut the normal acrylic tank into half.

Add eggcrate and plastic matt for evenly support.

With the xr15 radion, this can even be a frag tank!

The feed source gonna be the T split from main drain.

Question: what will be the best method for a silent, safe drain for this refugium? Please help me![emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]
Beautiful work! Did you cut into main drain and install T valve with water in the tank? Or was it empty?

Finally no more frag racks in the tank. Display looks so much cleaner now.
Pictures were taken last night using Note 9, light almost out.

It was empty.

With a 4 months old and the 2 years old kids, and my wife goes back to work I almost have no spare time for the tank except feeding the fishes. (Which I get it done in 2 mins). Photography time is something luxurious.
Today before head out to work, the light just turn on and I couldn't resist to snap some pictures with my phone. I wish I have sometime to take out the dslr, would be an awesome photoshoots!

Wow, your acros are amazing! How long did it take for you to grow your tgc acrolandia to that size? I recently picked one up and was wondering how’s the growth rate on it.

I think that winter is the best time for reef tank. It's easier to control the cold than the heat. With temperate less fluctuate the corals start pick up the growth and color up to full potential.
Walt Disney acro, become one of the classic beauty! Mine will become mini colony in no time!

Looking great! What temp are you keeping the tank at?

It's raining in SoCal today, so tempted to stay home and watch corals all day!!!
