We kept it on the pallet while moving it inside which worked really well and gave us an extra layer of protection.

So this is where it rests tonight. tomorrow we will left it up ans into position i hope. As much as I wanted to just rip it off i was good and left the plastic on until its in place.

The tank looks great even with the plastic on, nice joints and the thickness of the acrylic (3cm) looks awesome.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow..........to be continued!

You know if you ever take a break of give up saltwater reefing you can build a bar around the tank and have a mermaid behind the bar:rolleyes::D

Good stuff looks good. Hope you have lots of help for tomorrow. When do you plan on moving into your house ?

Being optimistic as always I convinced some friends to help me for "10 minutes" haha
It ended up taking 2 hours to get the tank into place. Even though its much lighter than glass the size makes the weight dificult to deal with. We ended up with 4 guys, 1 lifting on each corner while the girls slid pallets under one at a time to inch it up to the correct height.

I then put timber between the pallet and the aquarium stand and we slid the tank into place which actually went quite smooth and easy.

Some how I managed to stop myself from removing the film until the rest of the house is finished and we are ready to start filling the tank.

That was a big job. The system is starting to take shape.
