1000l IBC cleaning and prepping.

Hi everyone

I am hoping for some advice about cleaning and prepping an IBC for first use. I would like to know what methods and chemicals you use. I am planning on buying two. One for RODI and the other for mixed saltwater.

I know there is another thread about brutes but I didn’t want to derail that thread without the OPs permission.

If it’s new some how a quick rinse [emoji23]. But how you would rinse? That’s a mystery.... HMmmm

Assuming it’s new and food-grade, and your tap water isn’t terrible, I’d just fill it up with the hose and let it sit for a few days and then drain it out.
