Hello Reefers,
I thought I was crazy when I had seen a bit of salt creep at the button right-hand corner of my tank. After wiping it away it turns out that it seems it is leaking from the seam. Water so far is not dripping but just the salt creep. When I rub my hand on it there is a bit of water on my hand. Will it get worst I hope not before I get the replacement tank. The tank manufacturer will build a new tank and ship it to me roughly 2 to 3 weeks.
Age of tank almost 2 years (April 11, 2020)
Tank dimension : 48x24x20
Reinforced seams on all sides and bottom.
Apex controller with Gen radion Lights
All frags (scan, few sps and LPS corals
- Large Powder Blue Tang
- 2 large Clownfish
- 1 medium Mel wrasse
-1 Green-blue chromis
- 1 Hawkfish
-2 two starfish
Humble opinions, need to purchase a holding tank without breaking the bank. I am thinking about:
40 Gallon Breeder with stand + Power Filter. ( this will hold all my corals and a few fish)
1. Can I do without a skimmer for a few weeks?
2. anyone has a frag tank or DT setup without a sump and skimmer?
3. What can I put on the tank seam for now to ease my mind ( patch)? I have duct tape there.
what are your thoughts? what would you recommend
