Just set up but run into issues directly the re circulation pump deltec have glued the union coupling and it leaked there
So made a hillbilly with superglue
And it looks ok now started at 60 liters a day and measure tomorrow

I would reduce that significantly to start Im running at just 16 litres per day after 6-7 months.

I had some aggression in the tank and this pellets make all the tangs mellow

It’s the same liters I had per 24-h before in old rx reactor but I swop to trition rx media I am not sure if I should put my second chamber to raise the ph a bit on the outlet effluent but I leaved it offline for now

Run it at 75 liters and looks I stay at dkh 8 at this setting

Put Alkatronic online and it was verry easy to set up now it’s only to get it on the Wi-Fi... but after 3 measure it’s dead on with the Hanna so sure impressed

The deltec 3000 have run a ca week andlooks to do the work good but it lower ph quite more then the old reactor but as the ph in chamber is ca 5,6-5,7 constant it’s no surprise. I tried to get in contact with deltec Germany if it can put more stress on the smal pump to put a degassing chamber online but no reply so I hook it on today so hopefully in next days I will se if I can get a smal raise in ph

Quite pleased with the degassing chamber ph have raised today to 8,12 it’s lower then before but I am fine with it time will tell how the reactor like a second chamber to force the effluent before it reach sump

It’s interesting you feel the need for the extra chamber, my pH isn’t affected at all by the reactor output and it just goes back into the sump to mix up.

I can see how your idea works, but was it bringing the tank pH down to much or something?

It was getting low on night even I have frag and refugium on opposite time period and only hit ph 8 at day with the large second reactor it lowest is 7,8 night and also dkh increased with same flow of 75 liters ca 0,6 Dkh

ICP test got the new ICP test today second since i started Deltec reactor and its working fine at 75 liters just increase a couple of liters rest is quite ok need to work little with the po4
