This tank was born on January 28th, I have been looking around on here and haven't seen many mushroom only tanks and I just want to do something different.

Looks nice...I tried a 10gal at work, but then I had to go up there on my days off, so it didn't last for too long.

Good deal can't wait, think I might try another one in the bedroom, would love to see how yours looks!!

Ten gallons are so sweet. I always think that the coolest displays are the true monsters...and then the very small ones. Both impressive in their own unique way. Love the clown, but you need more corals though! :xd:

I love 10 gallons. Was my very first tank. I want to set up another one soo badly. They are awesome because with just a handful of nice pieces they look full and everyone is so amazed with them. Plus you can almost have them anywhere. My first on was on an end table by the couch. Fiance did not like it to much because I would just sit there and stare at it instead of listening to what she was saying.....lol

good news cyano is disappearing!!! This morning when the lights came on there was this layer of slime on the water it was so thick i could use a net and scoop it out then i siphoned as much as i could out, it was clear and slimy . Any ideas as to what it was?

Do you have a skimmer? If you dont I seriously would consider one. I think there are one of the most important parts of your filtration system. I run my reef without a filter, only a high end skimmer and all my ammonia nitrate and nitrites are zero. Just water changes and a good skimmer.

+1 I have seen people with 29 gallons just have a good skimmer and a decent amount of live rock. Their tanks where beautiful. I have a AIO tank and the only thing in the back is the return pump and a skimmer pump. No sponges, algae, ect.

i dont got a skimmer i do 2 2g water changes per week. i got it all out, i just noticed something, i had a bad cyano problem then it all died and after that the slime on the surface came. Could it be because of the cyano?

Thanks

You are gonna get the dust and oil ont eh top of the water because you do not have anything skimming it off the surface. What you could do is look for a DIY surface skimmer or get one from one fo the HOB skimmer and put your pick up tube from you filter in the box and the top of your water will stay clear.
