‘Ello all!

So to keep it short, I’ve had a 90g for 5 months now and I’m downgrading down to a 10g for various reasons and perhaps upgrading to a 30 or 40g in the future.

Back to the topic, I’ll keep this very shortish too.

What I want to stock/transfer:
- 1 x Mural Goby (max size? Ish)
- 1 x female med size (3”) clown
- 1 x Randall’s Pistol Shrimp
- 2 x large skunk cleaner shrimp
- 3 x Turbo Snails
- 1 x Med Tuxedo Urchin (MAYBE)
(Some soft & LPS corals)

Filtration/Media/Equipment currently:
- 30g Coralife HOB filter w/ protein skimmer
- Approx 5 lbs LR (upgrading to 15 tomorrow from main 90g DT)
- AI Prime HD LED (lights off during cycle)
- Live sand 1/4”
- 75w Cobalt heater (heater will last longer if it’s not always hitting max power; for a 20g)
- RO/DI only
- Red Sea Pro Salt (Salinity at .26)

Would all this over the course of let’s say 3-5 weeks be too much bio-load?
I started the cycle using LR from my 90g sump, stability by seachem, and ghost feeding mysis.

I can live with removing one shrunk shrimp, the urchin, and well I hope that’s all. I just don’t really want to as the urchin is super crazy at cleaning however I feel like he’d run out of food and the shrimp are paired and are both pregnant.. again lol.

Note:
Tomorrow will be day 2 of the cycle.
I’ll also get some fresh pics tomorrow :)
Ideally I wouldn’t like to remove either fish as I’m attached to them both :( they’re both my first fish

(Thinking about getting a Red Sea Max E 170 in the future)

Any advice or opinions would be great!
Thank you!

- Kieran

Ps: I would ideally like to transfer my feather dusters over. They’re fairly big too however being filter feeders would that help?

Bump & update:
Added more LR. About 20lbs total now

I kind of cringe at the idea of a 3 inch clown in a 10 gallon tank, I am sorry just being honest. I know clowns are not big swimmers all the time.
Is the Goby an aggressive sand sifter, is there enough real estate in a 10 gallon for the Goby?

Planning on upgrading to a 20 not too far in the future, that’s why I’m keeping it with just those two. And not the most, he sand sifts now and then but not too much.
