Check out the progress of my new build!
The purpose of the tank is Yet to be determined, as I have many possibilities for it, leaning towards zoanthids as they are one of my favorites.
I took a standard 10g, glued a corner baffle for an overflow, and inserted a powerhead and bioballs. The balls stay above the water level, leaving about 2/5ths of a gallon in the overflow, so top offs will be VERY important, and may need twice a day, which I am capable of doing.
Simple enough, I chose to place the heater (which I may not even need) in tank, to prevent as much evap in the small overflow section. I am not using any internal powerheads, so I have the whole space of the tank, minus the corner.
I know that it is going in a corner, so I made it a side and front view with a background that is Pink Hippie Gift Wrap!
TO light the tank, I have a 1x24w pc fixture, Bulb yet to be determined as well. (Taking suggestions, it is a 4 pin straight, not square). It was free, so I am using it as I have heard great results with PC, and 24 watts, @ 2.4watts per gallon isnt terrible, not clam worthy, but good enough for alot of cool things.
