I currently have a 10g nano reef which I am planning on making an LPS dominant tank. As of now I have two frags of hammer totaling 5 heads and a few frags of acans.

I am running an old Current USA Marine Orbit led fixture which I used on my 20g long quite a few years ago and it seems to be doing good. I dont have access to a PAR meter to measure the exact light levels in the tank but the corals look healthy and have good color. Problem with this light is that Its 24" long and my tank is, I think, 16" long so the fixture hangs over the tank edges a bit. It also rests right on the rim of the tank so I get bad salt creep on the fixture near my filter and powerhead...

What light would you guys suggest for a 10g nano? Something preferably on a gooseneck or similar mounting system with the same easy programming as the Current USA controller.

Thanks!

I see a lot of AI Primes on 10 gallon tanks.

Hi! Depending on your budget, I see the best light for your tank would be an AI prime hd! It’s an amazing light, I use it over my 14 gal reef/frag tank. I run a schedule that mimics T5s and haildes, and my corals love it so far! With the prime you can either get a gooseneck or the hard mount forgot what it was called. And the best part you can control it via your phone and your laptop/ pc! They retail for 209$ but you can easily find one for cheap on here on reef2reef! Hope this helps!

Prime HD on my 10G nano grows just about anything and as mentioned above, easy to use and program. Mine is only running at about half power and it grows LPS on the substrate...
