Newbie here :)

Looking for recommendations for 10g nano reef tank light. Looking for a light that would allow me to have a mix of different corals and would be able to use if I upgrade size of tank (20g-40g). Thanks!

Also specific models would be helpful. Seems like there are multiple different types with different color spectrums.

What are the tank dimensions and what is the budget?

You can look at AI Primes and BRS video on it. Price is reasonable and gives you the controllability.

20” L x 10” W x 12” H.

Budget wise, Probably around 200-250, but if there are cheaper options that work just as well then I'd be happy with that. But I understand how important lighting I am wanting to pick something nice.

I have been looking at those and is my current choice. Which model do you think?

AI Prime 16HD are good and I had good success with them. Can’t beat the price. You can always add on if you upgrade your tank plus they give you flexibility to spread out as needed. Spread is always more important than just high par IMO.
This was my 24g cube with 2 AI Prime 16hd

Noopsyche mini would be my choice. If you go with AI, go with the blade.

Since yours is a 20L, I would agree with @Spare time to have something that gives you maximum spread for your budget. Noopsyche seems to be decent in that regard but if you go with single point source light then you may need two or go for the blade type with wider spread

A single AI Prime 16HD Reef will do fine for a 10g mixed reef. If/when you upgrade to a larger tank, you can just add another (or two depending on the new tank size).

IMO, you really need at least two Blades (a Grow and a Glow) to get the full, wide blue band of light that you can achieve with a single Prime. Yes, the Blade's coverage and spread is absolutely better than a puck-style light like the Prime, but there are trade-offs.
