Just wanted to document the process of my 10 gallon NUVO.

Equipment:

AI Prime HD
In-Tank Media Basket
AutoTopOff.com ATO

Fish:

Onyx Clownfish
Flasher Wrasse (he will be going to a larger tank soon)

Corals/Inverts:

This tank is definitely a mixed reef, the addition of 2x small Maxima Clams have made maintaining Calcium & Alk quite the chore.

Maintenance:

I was doing 5 gallon WC weekly to keep up with my Calcium and Alkalinity demands but recently that has not been enough so I have gone to manually dosing Cal/Alk with bi-weekly water changes.

I am currently undecided if I'm going to take this tank down I currently am in the process of upgrading to a 42g planet aquariums rimless tank in the next month or so.

It's beautiful but maintaining the parameters is going to be a challenge. I would just move the clam and the stylophora over to the new tank and keep that IM 10, its really looks like it's coming into it own. You could also try low dosing of kalk in the ATO.

Thanks,

I agree I think I'll end up taking everything over and just keeping the 10 gallon a LPS/Softie tank. Maybe do nice chalices in it.
