110 gallon

Am pick up a 110 gallon tank tomorrow and it’s missing a protein skimmer what’s a good one .. will Nero 3 wave maker be enough for the tank any advice will help

I just got the exact same tank, the wood on mine is still naturally colored but i plan to paint it grey or white! Need a skimmer as well. Also researching which lights for a mixed reef on that deep of a tank.

Nice man the Wood on the tank was a light brown but the guy painting it black

You mentioned the Nero 3. I have one on my 30g and I think I need Nero 5s to be able to get enough flow in the 110g, and the Nero 3 magnet didn't feel solid on the 110g glass. I'm doing mixed reef, so I'm thinking two Nero 5s: one a few inches above a very thin sandbed and another halfway up. I'm also looking at the AI 64HD and 32HD for lighting to use less apps.

For skimmer I'm looking at Red Sea 400 to handle a heavy bio-load.

I think a Nero 3 will be good for me I have it on the tank now the Magnet strong strong enough:. I have no luck with SPS so I think 2 Nero 3 will be good for me an Plus the flow from the return pump

If you aren't doing sps you're probably right. I'm wanting a pretty heavy bio-load with a decent selection of tangs, so the increased flow should allow for that, plus the sps will like it.
