I’m a little behind on posting this thread but it’s still a work in progress.

Down graded from a 150 to a 70 back in 2011 when the wife and I got together due to space as a combined family, now I have upgraded back to a 112. Not my size of choice but what would fit in my wall and the small closet it rests in.

Equipment so far
SC 112 aquarium
Trigger sapphire CR 44 sump
Regal 200 int skimmer
Neptune apex
Cor 20 return pump
2-Icecap 4000 gyres
Maxspect razor xr5 300 watt (need to upgrade)
Aqua life RODI system (need to upgrade)
InkBird heater control
Finnex 800 watt heater

First picture was the 70 in the wall, the in order of date taken.

This is starting to shape up into a nice reef! I look forward to seeing it as it progresses.

The tank was a transfer from a 5 year old tank except for sand, week 1-3 0 ammonia yesterday .3 ammonia, Fluval test kit, ordered Salifert today.

My PH has been around 7.9 and AlK is perfect so i didn’t want to add a buffer due to ALK and no room for a CO2 scrubber. I was reading about micro bubble washing so I tried it for 10 minutes and it did bring my PH up to 8.1, so guess this is my next weekly routine.

I think the torch and elegance has finally found their resting spots. We will see over the next week or so but the seam to be loving their new locations.

So been a while but have added I toxic tip frogspawn and a purple tip hammer 2 weeks ago and they have taken very well to the tank.
