Small update. I'm day 6 of 10 of a Furan and metro in my QT. My fish seem to be doing well so far. Next will be copper. I was able to get a new hanna copper checker that should be here tomorrow.

Im having a huge nitrate/phos issue in my DT, which isnt new but Ive been working on it and its hardly gone down. I went ahead and ordered a media reactor and will run GFO. I am also going to dose Nopox to get the nitrates down. I never had a nutrient issue in the past probably because I fed less and stayed up on my water changes better since I had sps. This tank was FOWLR for a while and I guess I let it slip too long.

I'd be interested in your thoughts and opinions on that Hanna checker, does it work for both chelated and ionic coppers?

Glad the fish are improving, I'm sure you'll get the nutrients in check before too long.

Heres a really good thread on the hanna checker. Worth checking out. In short, Hanna has released a statement saying its proven in saltwater now. I think its way better to have a digital readout than trying to guess what color matches what.

Got the reactor in today and installed it in my sump. Running BRS high capacity GFO.

Got in a morsecode maroon clownfish today. Hoping it pairs with my lightning maroon I already have. Last pic is the lightning Ive had.

Got in a custom regulator today. Decided to go with a calcium reactor setup. I would highly recommend people doing some research on regulators before buying some of the main stream ones...you may learn alot about them compared to what is out there.

Put the calcium reactor together today and took some pictures with the good camera. This reactor is built like an absolute tank if anyone is considering it. If anyone is looking for a high quality regulator that spanks main stream regulators that are available, hit up @Fish Out of H2O

Got the media in the reactor now. Just have to get the co2 tank filled tomorrow and I’ll be ready to fire it up.

Went and got the co2 tank filled and installed the regulator today. Seems to be working well and easy to adjust.
