11F150's Deep Blue 80 Shallow Build

I will be starting a new build thread for my new setup. It may be slow going the first month or so as I gotta get a few things done to the tank itself. I had to get a new tank that would fit in my "man cave" as my last setup was taking up too much room in my living room. Here is my last build thread:

Moving forward, the first thing I am going to do is fix some of the latex paint on the back glass panel and also cut a new piece of plywood for the tank to sit on in between the stand and tank. I will be getting rid of the piece of styrofoam that is seen in the picture belong so that will clean up the look alot. The piece of plywood will be painted black of course. A few pics I snapped quickly when I got it home yesterday. More to come

Yeah Rob, I obviously wasn't involved in drilling it but it was done.

Brandon, I'm excited for this build too. It looks so much bigger than 80 gallons due to the dimensions. I'm ready to get water in it.

Few things have got done so far. I fixed the back glass panel as the black paint was peeling a bit. I painted the stand again to freshen it up. I cut a piece of wood and painted it black for the tank to sit on. Also, got a new piece of equipment.

Got home from work tonight and worked on some plumbing. Had the plumbing that came with it soaking for a day to make sure they were clean, also bought some new plumbing.
