11F150's SPS Dominant Build - 350 Gallons Total

I've actually been getting the ball rolling for a little bit and wasn't sure I was going to make another build thread but I decided why not.

I'm going to have a 150 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank in my basement that will be plumbed to my display tank in my upstairs office. My display tank is a 110g 48x24x22 low iron glass euro braced aquarium drilled for a synergy reef shadow v2.

Heres a few pictures so far. The display tank is not in its final resting spot yet, I still need to take down my fresh water planted tank.

Been quite busy lately. Haven’t updated much but the tank is up and running. I’m having some issues with the return pump flow but I’m going to make a thread on that to see if I need to change to 1” pipe instead of 3/4”. Here are some pictures of where I’m at.

Got the lights hung. I went with 3 Reefi Unos. Also got the UV mounted and plumbed it’s up and running.

Decided to get a generator. When you need it, you can’t put a price tag on one in this hobby. Saw Memphis had a power outage last week for 3-4 days and that made my mind up.

Going to expand a little bit on my build. Decided to add a "frag" tank next to the sump. Picking up a 60x36x16 tank in a few weeks.

Made some progress with my adding a tank on to my system. Made a light rack out of 2040 aluminum. the stand should be in place this weekend and next weekend I’ll pick the tank up.

Going to give an update since its been a while. I let the tank run for a good 6 months without doing much besides letting it do its thing. Around late October I began doing some cleaning up and getting parameters in check ( they werent too far off). Since then levels have been stable and I have been adding some coral to my grow tank. My display currently just has fish in it but I plan on that to change soon. My goal is to grow out frags and frag them, then stock my display. In the next post I will add some pictures of frags of what I have so far. I hit the @TopShelfAquatics live sales pretty hard along with @jfox live sale. Everything seems to be doing well and my next plans are to get some more fish which I already have ordered and they are in QT. Thanks for stopping by and expect more updates soon.
