Hey guys - leaning towards a 120 gallon, like the dimensions mentioned. Best place to buy one? Do they make rimless or euro brace? How many radion needed for reef tank? Upgrading from 30 gallon. Suggestion on sump size??

That's what I have! Tank size anyways

I've been modifying it and plumbed it to my basement to a 29 gal dsb and a 20 gal cheato tank then draining to a 100 gal Rubbermaid.

Solid set up. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could plumb to basement but will likely have to put the sump in stand.

As far as pumps are concerned with a sump directly underneath you could do a mag 12 and still have to dial it down a bit. I'm running a pan world 250ps from the basement with 2" drains on a glass holes.com 3,000 goth dual overflow. It's not exactly sounding the way I want it to at the moment. Too much drain for the tank. Lol. I'll fix it though with some valves and such. :-).
Before my basement plumb I had the sump under the tank and used a mag 18 dialed WAY back. Lol.

This 120g is my next build. I built a 40b for a sump. Stand is next on my list. Drilled it for a glass-holes 1500gph overflow.

Where are you getting the tank from? I could go to lfs but looking at other options. Want rimless if possible. Recommendations on brand? Def want glass not acrylic

I got a used one off Craigslist. It was a freshwater setup. Sold everything off and ended up with a free tank, stand, skimmer and mh lights out of the deal. They are hard to find around here and we don't have anyone that makes custom tanks.

Drilled and painted. Was worried if it was tempered. A few people were certain it was.
