I started a build for a 120 gallon aquarium for my office. I ran 2 Clowns through a quarantine tank and added them to the tank and after the tank cycle I added Bangaii Cardinal fish. These fish were in 10 gallon tanks with a hang on back filter so they all saw fairly low flow. Now that they are in the main tank, they act like the flow is extreme. During the build, I added a DC pump for the return with a flow meter to the apex. It shows 320GPH flow which I thought was good turn over for this size tank. The in tank flow are 2 cheap jebao type wavemakers that are rated at 3400GPH each in alternating cycle.

Did my fish get soft in the QT tank and they will get use to the flow? I have the wave makers at their lowest setting.

I wouldn't sweat it, they'll acclimate. As the saying goes, the flow in the ocean is much stronger than what we have in our tanks.
