I’m about to get my 120 upgrade running. Looking to see what others have for fish stock in their tanks and rock work

Welcome to R2R first of all!

Nice tank set up...you will be happy with that size aquarium allowing you some versatility. Is this going to be a reef or FOWLR tank?

If it is going to be a reef tank, I would look into the plethora of beautiful Fairy and Flasher Wrasses, Blennies, Gobies and Anthias’. Zebrasoma Tang, Naso Tang, Centropyge Angel, Clownfish and Royal Gramma. I have had some of these in my 125 reef in the past before having to sell it when I moved.

In a non reef aquarium, Grouper, Eel, Puffer, Holacanthus or Pomacanthus Angel, Halicheores or Thallasoma Wrasses, Acanthurus Tang, Butterfly fish and a Hawkfish.

These are just a few examples of what you could have in your tank that will offer some diversity, color and personality. You will have to be careful with what you have, when you add the fish and in what order plus if you can have more than one same species or not.
Best of luck to you...

It’s going to be a new home for my already set up 75g mixed reef. I’m new to r2r but I’ve been running for almost 2 years. I just like seeing what other people have done for inspiration

It is an rs100 and I did put in a siphon break and a check valve (redundancy is everything in this hobby)

I have the rs75 on a 40 with syphon break about 1/2” under water level and my sump fills almost to the top when I shut down pump, your check valve if it doesn’t fail should keep you safe however a syphon break not so much. The 100 is probably more suited for like 60-70 gallons

Welcome.

So what type of corals do you plan on having? This will lead to fish decisions etc.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
