Looking good so far. I'm in the middle of a similar build. Can't wait to see how thus turns out.

thanks, lots of learning fro lm reef2reef, definitely different than my time 20 yrs ago. hope this time around I will have more success than before

Love that size tank. That will be my next one. Keep the updates coming

2 months later:
9 fish, several lps frags, lost 3 fish due to ich, but now every fish is healthy. Done with fish stocking; 5 yellowtail damsel, 1 juvie yellow tang (survive the ich), received 3 adult fish from fellow reefers, extremely healthy flame angel, tomini tang, maroon clown. the corals doing well except the torch not open up as much as the hammer. Zoas have babies and monti cap is growing

Equipment update (reefer on budget buy most used):
Cadlight skimmer
2x XR 30 Radion (1 pro and 1 not)
Tunze ATO (dosing kalk), travel a lot so can't dose Ca and Alk manual and don't want to add dosing pump
UV light (due to ich, at least I think help preventive) with rio circ pump
Eheim auto feeder
2x Eheim heater
Carbon media bag in sump
Jebao powerhead
Marineland NJ5500 return pump
40B sump

Wish list:
Controller (simple one)
Another powerhead
