So, I've taken the next step in this hobby and I'm upgrading my 70 to a 120 !

It's very exciting and I have learned as much as I have lost with the first tank. I'm super confident that moving forward it's going to look absolutely amazing.

I will be posting the build as I go along and I'll probably still be asking for tips and have questions from you brothers and sisters in the reefing community:):):)

Very nice start you got going there and very clean looking

Looks sparkling clean still. Time to make a mess! Interested to hear of any plans for qt or frag setups to accompany this beauty.

How much more ? Is it a slip x thread?

Nice. I love the red PVC. I had to paint mine red because no one in Canada distributes red pvc! I would have to order it from New Jersey and the shipping was nuts.
I'm gonna look into the bigger adapter:)

I'm use L1 on mine use 1 1/2 pipe reduce to 1 inch when going to return on tank and other use 1 inch to adapter than to the size to fit chiller and others

I'm using the factory union and I had to build up to a 1 inch. I'm running 1 inch all around.

Glad to see you had the foresight to get a longer cabinet. There never seems to be enough room. Great choice of that and the return pump!

Hello, new 120g reef project.
But wait! Don't fill with water before you can answer this question:
Where did you got that stand? It looks like cheap Walmart building wood (TV Stand). I don't want to tell you that this thing looks bad.
But if you have 120g + Stones in it it can be 600-800 pounds.
Are you sure that stand can hold this?
