120 Gallon Salty Condo

Big Ol' Update

Last weekend thanks to the help of Kevan we got the manifold built and the Jebao DC12000 installed. I'm very happy with the way this turned out and the power of the pump as well.

I also got around to cleaning up all the wires and rat's nest of the tank stand.

I also added 2 fans to the canopy and cleaned all the wires up into a wire loom

Got my new pellet reactor online as well

The wires cleaned up great! Glad to help with the manifold it's the best plumbing accessory to have.

Thanks fellas. I'm super happy how everything turned out.

On a side note I caught the Foxface and brought him to the 240 Abyss tonight for adoption. Bittersweet day.

It's bitter sweet....

How's the majestic doing?

He's doing great. Eats everything I throw at him. Just goes camo a lot but I'm sure that will change in due time.

The 120 looks so empty without the beast swimming around.

I agree. But I do have to have a foxface regardless as they are one of my favorites so after the Magnificent comes out of QT a black cap basslet is next. Not sure what else to add but I'm open to ideas.

I'm also debating another Tang but not sure if I want to go that route.

I am also wanting to grab a magnificent foxface... do they care much about tangs and vice verse? IE, could I add one now and not have issues adding other fish (that aren't conspecifics) later?

I think the Foxface species in Genral are very peaceful and docile but will hold their own if needed. After all, they are venomous! Just ask Nate how well his/my old one held it's own against there large tangs.
In my tank the blenny that is much smaller would nip at it and it would never fight back, it would just swim away. Lol

I never saw it chase any fish that was much smaller. They have really small mouths so I don't see them harming any smaller fish. Watch out come feeding time though. They go crazy over any and all foods once acclimated. I had my new trained on the seaweed clip in less than a week.

Awesome! I may have to grab one of these sooner rather than later. :) Thanks, Ryan.

Ryan, what was the reason for moving the Foxface? Maybe I missed it, but did you pic up a majestic angel?

I felt as if the Foxface had outgrown the tank. He was all of 6 inches and I just didn't want to harm/stunt his growth in any way. Plus there is a local reefer with a 240 and I thought that would be a much better environment for the Foxface.

I picked up a Magnificent Foxface. No majestic angel for me. The new foxface has been in QT for 2 weeks as of today and is doing great!

Good deal. Love my magnificent and by blue spot rabbit. Looking forward to pics!

I've always wanted one. Here's a photo of it in QT. I'd say he around 3 inches...

I like the spotted ones as well! But I think they get way to big for my tank if I'm not mistaken?
