Thank you for the advice.
I want to go for a minimal rock on the display thank.
I will compansate by usining marine pure rock on the sump.
About the power heads. I might have to suck this up for a while.

I think it looks like a great start! Very nice and well thought out sump and plumbing. Love that rock work as well. You can always add to it in the future if needed.

What are the 2 clear pipes for that have the clear flexible tubes in it?

Those 2 take the air presure from the overflow pipes, once an a while air pushes one or two drops. Thats way i use vinil tube so no drops are spil on my cabinet .
