120 gallon system

My system is almost up an runing. How can a make the sump much more silent ?

Whats the idea with the drilled pipes for the drain lines?
Hey thanks for asking.
I did a lot of reserch about getting an efficient system.
I drill the end pipes to brake the water speed and minimising overflow noise.
Also the boubles that are being createded by the holes helps moving any particles away.
Then i can collect those particles much more easily.

Interesting concept! I'm guessing you left those removable so you can clean them?
Are you taking any precautions to keep snails and fish from taking a ride down your overflows?

Yes, the hole system can be 100% Disassemble.
Also the overflows have a cover to prevent any snail in.

Excellent! I've had a clown take a ride down the superslide before. Fortunately, he was fine and I didn't have a filter bag installed at the time so he was just happily swimming in my sump.
