The anemone, and the clowns are doing really well. That's about the end of my good news from what I started.

Tried zeovit with SPS, but didn't work out all that well for me. Rebooting the tank and going into the softie/LPS world. We'll see if I am as masterful at killing them as I was SPS.

My light is still a problem, no idea how to dial that in but according to reefbreeders, 60/51 is the setting I should be using for a mixed reef...I'm guessing...I may use the soft corals settings.

So far I have 2 branching sinularia's. One looks to be doing OK. the other not so much. My Neon Green Aussie Toadstool hasn't had any polyps out for about 4 days now.

Frustrating is an understatement. dang frustrating is the operative word.

More tank details.

75 lbs of Pukani Rock, running a beananimal overflow with a homemade coast to coast overflox box internally. a pair of Maxspect gyre's with icecap controllers on each end (since shut off and running on 20% pulse mode). Since the icecap won't go lower than 20%, I had to remove the icecap controller.

As for the bain of my existance, the lights, if I find a 6x54 or 6x80W ATI unit for less than $350, I will switch to T5's. I think where I am at this point in the hobby, on/off is better for me than variations.

As mentioned, I am frustrated, and almost to the point where I just want to say F it, and do a FOWLR tank.

I just found out today that the pump I use for water changes was putting electric current into the tank. Every week for 2 years.

Every day I learn something.
