Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while but here I am. I have a 120 gallon, 30 gallon sump; with an Octopus Diablo 160 Skimmer; mag. 9.5 return; two 3 little fishes reactors - one GFO, one carbon; a mag. 3 running bio-pellets in a BRS reactor; a Magnus Bubble Doser; reefkeeper lite; LEDs are all 3w 28 soft whites, 5 regular whites, 28 blues, 13 royal blues, 7 reds, 4 green, 4 violet, 4 UV all on a 48 X 9 inch heatsink. Fish = a purple tang, a naso tang, a copper-band butterfly, 2 black clowns (and "their 3 sherman red bubble tip anemones), 2 mandarins, and a big pink spotted goby. corals...as stated, mostly SPS, a few LPS pieces (I did add a nice 12" rainbow stylo but no pics yet)

You have a real nice tank there. How long has it been setup and running?

do you have the copper-band butterfly for aptasia ? They are beautiful , I'd love to have one but I have no aptasia (yet).

Looks great!! Thanks for sharing!

yes, he loves the stuff, I know it's my imagination but I seem to be missing some majanos (wishful thinking) A great fish but my snails hate him as when they put their feelers out the CBB thinks they are worms and tries to eat them :)

Great looking tank, I love the 120's!

I'd love to see some more pic's!

well if since you asked :) (I'm home recovering from some minor surgery so it gave me something to do, sorry to bore you all)

the clowns and "their" 'nems

ugh, wrong pic, was supposed to be the left side of the sand bed with my "cousin it" encrusting gorgorian, a 25+ head duncan and a 7 headed orange branching hammer

I see you have a nice Rainbow Stylo ... does it do better in high light areas or med.? I picked up a smaller one three weeks ago and not seeing good coloring, I have it high but I am running t5's.

It's gone :( but I had it under LEDs but maybe 6" off the sand and as it stretched out it'd kind of look for shade. It would love to grab on to a rock over it and stretch out between the 2. I miss it for sure

ugh, read wrong and there are so many "rainbows" in our tanks now. I still have the rainbow stylo and love it. I keep it pretty high with good flow but not directly on it. I have it next to my purple stylo and they both seem to do well, thanks for asking!

I didn't know editing a reply would move this back to the top, sorry. I bought a lot of stuff from Joe's sale and a sick welso from Aqua SD...and a new camera lens, so I'll be adding some way better pics of hopefully some nice new pieces in the next couple weeks. sorry for the "phone" pics

I have had my rainbow Stylo for two months now , high on the rocks closer to the t5's and with good flow (I can see the polyps moving) but still the color is just not there (like the mother colony). I get 300+ par where it is located ... but still not sure if it needs more or less.

Looking forward to seeing some more pictures.

When I bought it the seller was using MHs and it had a reddish glow. Under my LEDs it's pretty much green/yellow. Hopefully I'm getting a bigger tank with MHs and T5s and it will redden back up again. even with my purple which I've had for over a year, it's never browned up no matter how high I got it to the lighting. Mine anyway seem to adjust either way. Can you post some pics? I'd love to see another rainbow, I haven't seen many.

Great looking tank and great pic's!

thx! as I mentioned, I have a few sicko pieces on the way and I have my Nikon with a nice lens working, so I'm going to improve in both areas.
