Hello fellow reefers,
I have had my 120 gal set up for a little over 6 months and I am currently love it, but my dad mention he was looking at upgrading to a 150. So went to my LFS and got a list of everything I would need. Since was my 120 was a used tank and some of my equipment was used I decide to upgrade everything when we do this.
Current part list is
4- Current Orbit IC Pro lights with brackets, which would replace my single fluval led strip
Supreme Mag Drive 1200 GPH return pump
2 Eheim Jager 200 watt heaters (thinking 1 in an overflow with the other in the sump)
Hybridtek Sump (saw one, good construction, has spot for refugium) not happy with my current sump and the way it has water going through it.
Neptune Apex controller and ATK (already have, would just reprogram and move)
Eshopps S-200 skimmer
I'm planning on replacing the sand when i transfer everything over, as well as purchasing addition 20 lbs of live rock and leaving them in my sump to avoid having a massive cycle in the tank. All the live rock, coral, fish, and inverts would get moved over to the new tank.
Suggestions and comments are always welcomed
