120g New sump and Denitrator

The Aquarium I have had for 10yrs but the sump is an upgrade mainly because my old sump was a Eshopps set up to run 7" filter socks which I decided in want to run on my "big" tank system.

New to me sump is a Skimz 30 and the new denitrator is a TS-1 Aquamaxx. Also just added a set of gen 3 Radion xr30's. I now understand the hype. In route, a new set of MP40's mobius compatible.

I will update the denitrator after some use.

The system is still under "construction/renovation"

New Vortech MP40's arrived today.
They are replacing 2 pretty new Jamboree SLW-20's that were my favorite wavemakers yet.
At first glance the MP-40's are much larger in all dimensions. More equivalent to the Jaebo SLW-30's I run on my 330 gallon aquarium.

So far I am impressed. I will install and post a pic. For now they are in the box.

Interesting note:
My protein skimmer, which consistently pulls great skim. Is running low (bubbles several inches below the neck). I can only be due to the denitrator I installed, although it is much too early to be colonized with bacteria. Mystery...
