No Fadi. Just holidays at the island and relaxing.
Where I was there were no coral farms close by. Maybe next time I have to chose the locations more carefully.

The aiptasia is slowly getting all over the tank.
It is hard to get the proper shrimp here and those seem to be the way to go.

Have you tried the Red Sea Aiptasia X. I know some people struggle with it but it’s always worked for me once you get the ‘timing’ right.

I’ve also got a couple of peppermint shrimps as well.

I believe Aiptasia X is the next way to go.

You have to be careful when you get close the the Aiptasia otherwise it will close up.

So place the angled needle just enough away from the Aiptasia mouth so that you can hit it with the jet of liquid in its mouth before it closes up. Then fire at will!

I will not be able to kill all of the aiptasia, but if I can at least remove part of them closest to the corals, I will be very happy.
Some aiptasia are well below the rocks where it is pratically impossible to get with the needle.
Some are even upside down so no chance to throw the white-sticky-stuff in the mount.
I guess I will have to reduce them for now until I can find a good aiptasia eating creature.

The tank was about 1 year old in May so I started checking some older and newer photos to see if there was any coral that I did not kill and actually grew.
It was not easy as some coral did not survive, others were sold, fragged or placed in another spot without ever take a good picture.
But here are some that could pass a comparison.
If I see all photos, there is a good lot that survived, but there are a good few that didn't. Most suffered when I got the calcium reactor hooked up and the tank suffered a great Alk swing.

Have You considered some peppermint shrimp they are sometimes available at BPK in Dubai, or Matted Filefish my friend Adnan had a great success with it
