Hey,

Glad you clicked on this topic, I won't disappoint you for sure!
Short introduction of myself, my name is Kevin and I'm living in France, doing reefing for about 4 years but freshwater for over 15!

I was inspired a lot by what I call "the US way", which is radically different compared to what people are used to here(sounds crazy right?).
See an example: Nobody knows what the heck is a bean animal overflow, everybody use a Durso and I can't stand any possible noiseo_O (so I made my own using my fellow 3D printer!)

Enough talk, i know we are all the same so let me tickle your SPS sweet spot and show you some pictures to captivates your mind so you feel brave enough to read the rest :drooling-face:

Now back to serious things for the equipment:
•Tank is 5'x2'x2'
•Lit by 5 hydra 26HD+2x80w ATI blue plus (about 800 PAR on some specimens)
•Wavemaker are 2*Gyre XF350 +2MP40 +2 Jebao MOW16(4000Gph each), all running at about 70% in wave/reef crest mode (crazy flow you think? Not enough for my taste!)
•About 150lb of dry rock
•BBK Mini 200( my ears love it, my wallet a bit less)

That's it's for now, see below the diagram for managing everything through the recently bought Profilux 4(man that programming is a nightmare, even for me that program PLC yicks)

Feel free to ask any questions beside full tank pick, not representative enough to share it!

Worked on my cabinet now done, I'm now running redundant PSU for all the system for both, 12V(Profilux, kh tester, doser)and 24V(wave maker and return pump).

All plugged up, 12V battery will back up only 2*MP40, it rarely happens here so no need to go overkill.
I could have backup hooked to the main 24V board(2*12v battery in series) but that's a lot of power then, bout 200W for wave maker + return
