Hey guys, I have been thinking about this list and have been very indecisive. Need some opinions, so far I have pair of black ice clown and diamond goby.

The only must have in this list is a
Borbonius blotched anthias ***

I’ll be listing a few that I have been eyeing but not sure if they would pair up nicely in the tank.

Leopard wrasse (possible pair)
Bimaculatus anthias x2
Fathead sunburst anthias x1 or 2
Resplendent Anthias x4
Chevron tang
Flame angel (not reef safe?)
Midas blenny
Red mandarin
Flame hawk fish
Long nose hawk fish
Any jawfish
Kole yellow eye tang
Line spot flasher wrasse

I’m looking to have a mix school of anthias if possible .

Flame angel are with caution. They can be extremely aggressive. Mine chases blue throat triggers around the tank from time to time. They can also nip corals. I would look for a dwarf different angel.

Mandrians are hard to care for and you will have to supplant their diet with pods. Paul b has designed a feeder for them. I would only put into a mature tank. Also, pay attention when buying them, many are starving in lfs

That’s my 2 cents

I have a flame and he does not bother the corals and just gets along. Then again, I like to over feed. Do you have plans for any shrimp? Crabs? Etc. If you get a jawfish you will need a COVER on the tank. I've lost 2 to jumping.

A larger tank does make a difference on aggression levels.

I do plan to get a cover soon. Also looking to get rid of my diamond goby to switch for a blue spot jawfish . I would like to add a few shrimps , I looked into a harlequin but not sure if I would want to have to buy a starfish every week.
Mostly wanting to see if I can get a mix school anthias and a few others. Heard lots of mix things with a flame angel I may just have to try it out and hope for the best .

If you do than add it last. The harlequin is a very specialized feeder and you’ll be buying starfish to feed.

The anthias species you listed are great, but the particular species you listed will not co-mingle.

Blue spot jaws need cooler temps than most keep their tanks.

Leopards can outcompete a mandarin for pods.

The only must have is a borbonius anthias . Which anthias would coexist well in this system!

If you could suggest any fish outside of the list what would it be

The anthias won't bother each other, they just won't create a mixed species school.

You chose some of my favorite anthias.

Borbonus and sunburst do their own thing.

Bimacs are hardy and pretty.

Resplendent are pretty social with each other.
